My name is Samuel and I work as an independent operator in NJ. The whole thing started when I was dropping off a passenger at Teterboro airport where I met a limolink employee name Charlie. He liked my service and gave me his business card. We communicated and he promised me the stars and a lots of work only if I change my car. The options were a Mercedes, BMW or an Escalade.
Couple of days after I bought myself a new Cadillac Escalade and just to impress limolink, I went for the Premium Luxury trim. Once I got the SUV ready I called Charlie to give him the good news but I was told that Charlie is no longer with the company and to contact Steve at their headquarters. The news was heartbreaking for me since I was out of work for a month and put my savings of about $12000 toward the purchase of my new car.
I started calling limolink and left many messages for Steve. After leaving about more than 100 messages one day I got a call I was waiting for. Steve finally called me and told me that they are not taking independent contractors any more. I tried explaining him the situation I was in and that I just needed to work. This guy did not give a crap and hung up the phone on me.
All I can say is that I wanted to curse the crap out of these A$$ holes and the way their decision ruined my life.
